Effy is a doe who was slower to mature and often took a back seat in the show ring to some of our previously owned stars like GCH

Efferevescence's dam , Jacuzzi.

McQuitty-Farm Alieza or GCH Willow Run Dream Maker Alma (2006 ADGA Res. Nat’l GCH & RBU). As a 6 year old she has outlasted her previous herd mates, developed beautifully and earned her own “star” status. She is extremely long framed, level and correct in feet and legs. Her uphill appearance, statuesque ring presence and angularity create a style that is noticed by everyone. Although Effy does have larger, cleanly delineated teats her udder is well attached, properly shaped with soft texture. She is an actual descendant of our original “A” line but a name change in the early 90’s prevent most people from knowing that. She has become a farm favorite and craves attention. She is also very prolific and her offspring typically look like her with that style that any breeder would admire which is no surprise given the depth of her pedigree. Efferevescence pass on 3-09.

Amorita is a carbon copy of her beautiful dam Alieza so it’s no wonder why our expectations are high for this doe. She is long, smoothly blended and wide throughout. We also appreciate her uphill stature and beautiful head and breed characteristics. Her udder is well balanced and strongly supported with perfect placement and size of teats (aunt Di would not agree!!!). As a large first freshening two year old her udder could be more capacious but Marilyn Grossman says this is a typical trait of the Spin Doctor daughters. She adds that we should sit back be patient because it’s always worth the wait. We have retained Amorita’s 2008 doe kid as a herd replacement and her 2008 buckling, McQuitty-Farm That’s Amore‘, is now a herd sire at Lady-K farm. Amorita will be bred to Loughlin’s Talut Chill Out and kids are $600.

When Arizona was born I took him home from Willow Run because I saw great potential in what he could bring to our breeding program. We sold him shortly thereafter because we had very stressful lives at the time and too many goats but I never forgot about him. After using Snicker for a few breeding season I e-mailed Laura and asked her if we could trade and she gladly accepted. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I hadn’t seen him in 3 years but Laura assured me he was big, sound and very fancy. When we first acquired him I knew she was right! He was so impressive I went back on my word that I would never show a buck again. At his only show this year Arizona was GCH, BOB & BBIS in all 3 rings and finished his championship! He is extremely tall fronted, smooth and level and these are traits that he passes on to his offspring. His daughters are also long bodied, strong boned with globular shaped udders and nicely shaped teats. Someone said that he looked like a thoroughbred prancing around the ring which is exactly what I think his dam and aunt, GCH Willow Run Dreammaker Alma, look like! We are using Arizona heavily this fall and are anxious about the impact he could make here. We would like to thank the Warner family of Fox-Trot Dairy Goats for entrusting us with Arizona!

Egret resembles her dam in many respects being long, level and stylish with more depth of udder. Her mammary system is capacious, well attached and her teats are more proper in size than her dams. When she came to us in May of 08 she had milking for two years continually and was still producing around 8#’s a day. We felt she had earned a longer break than the rest of the herd and so we dried her off in early June. We are excited to see what’s in store for Egret when she is in full bloom. The sires side of her pedigree brings some exciting opportunities for us to explore.

Athena is a beautiful doe who easily finished her championship last summer despite being average in size. She is incredibly high headed, uphill and level over the top line. We also appreciate her will to milk, height of rear udder, strong medial and nice teats. Her pedigree combines some of the most influential lamanchas today and we value Athena as a brood doe. We repeated the breeding to Bocephus because her 2009 are really exciting.

Vanity was always a correct kid but really didnt get noticed much, until she freshened and was instantly a keeper!  She is smoothly blended, correct in feet and legs and dairy. But Vanity's most noticable feature is her snuggly attached mammary system with wide rear udder arch, smooth fore udder and pleasing teat size.. She was undefeated in the milking yearling class and even picked up a milking leg this year.. We love her so much we retained both of her 2009 doe kids as replacements.  She was rebred to Bocephus and kids are $500.

Bo is a fancy yearling with a smooth front end, correct leg and open ribs. When I saw his dam as a yearling she was big, long bodied and dairy. Her udder was globular in shape with a wide rear and particularly long and smooth fore udder. This buck is line bred on the great GCH Singing-Hills Darkstar Britny 1*M who was Best Udder at the 2002 ADGA National Show. Two of her daughters won their class at ADGA National Shows and one was named Reserve Best udder at the 2004 ADGA National Show. When we decided to bring in some new blood the decision was clear to go to Loughlins! The harder decision was which doe to get a buck from. The more we studied and researched we decided on this strong doe line. When Kristin told us that Out Shine would be rebred AI to Talut to repeat his beautiful full sister, Outrageous, that sealed the deal for us. Now that we have him and breeding season is upon we are getting more anxious by the day to hurry up and use him. Although not a huge buck he is smoothly blended, uphill with perfectly placed legs and strong pasterns. We anticipate his offspring and are extremely grateful to the Loughlin’s for letting us add this special guy to our herd. Kudos was a buck we purchased in 2006 but was sold shortly after breeding season because he was hard to deal with.  Although absent from our herd  he was a buck that never left my mind.  When Alyssa and three of his other duaghters freshened i knew i had ot go on the search to get him back (whether he was crazy or not)! Luckily enough i found the lady (Janet Sauerwein) who i sold Kudos to and she was more than happy to let Kudos return home after using him for a few years.

Kudos, like his father, is extremely uphil and high headed which is very appealing to watch him move around the lot.  He is also smoothly blended, level across the top line with a strong chine. His feet and legs are correct although i would like to see longer cannons on this guy but at this point have not seen any of that in his daughters.. As you can see from his offspring his daughters are stylish, level with well attached, productive mammaries. I look forward to retaining more of Kudos' offfspring next spring. Semen may be available next year.

Ever since we saw the photo of Stone Cold Fox we knew we wanted something from this incredible doe to incorporate into our breeding program. She is extremely correct in general appearance coupled with an incredible mammary system and passes these strengths on to both her sons and daughters!  Fox has two permanent champion daughters and another with two legs to date. Foxmaker sired the 1st place yearling milker with 1st udder at the 2009 ADGA National Show and the 2nd place udder in that class as well. Another son, Loughlin's Voice Of A Sly Fox, sired the 2009 ADGA National Jr. Champion so it is no surprise we used him heavily this fall.

Foxmaker is huge, smoothly blended and uphil as well. We love his short, strong pasterns, beautiful angulation of rear leg and openness of rib. His daughters are consistantly long bodied, correct in feet and legs with well attached udders. If you get a chance please view the 2009 ADGA National Show tape to see winning Fox Maker daughters. We are anxious to obtain some Fox Maker offspring and semen may be available next fall.  We are extremely grateful to Loughlin's Dairy Goats for letting Fox Maker come join our herd.

Dixie is co-owned by Diana Patton and McQuitty-Farm since the fall of 2008 and her kids will bear the famous Windsor-Manor herd name although she now lives in Ohio. I remember judging Dixie as a yearling milker and I liked her a lot. So much so that I used her for Senior Champion that day over some pretty competitive older milkers. I guess I wasn’t the only judge who thought that she was extremely impressive because she finished her championship as a yearling milker. She is a large, stylish doe with a beautiful mammary system. Her udder is nicely shaped, strongly supported with a particularly high and wide rear udder. She has some pretty big shoes to fill being the daughter of the 2003 ADGA National Champion and Best Udder, GCH Windsor-Manor WMV Francine. We would like to thank Diana and Megan Patton for this incredible opportunity.

Evita was somewhat of a clunky kid and usually ate more than her share! When she freshened as a yearling we knew she was a keeper. Like her dam she has developed into an extremely long, level and very stylish doe. We admire her strength of bone, openness of rib and width of chest floor. Her udder is properly shaped with a high, wide rear and smooth fore. We also appreciate her tight orifices and soft udder texture. I guess the judges agree because at her first show as a two year old she was GGCH and BOB in all 3 rings and won BSDIS in one of the rings to earn her first leg. We love Evita and could have an entire barn full just like her. Her three year old daughter sired by Kudos, CH McQuitty-Farm K Estella, finished her championship in 2009 and her two year old daughter, McQuitty-Farm Bette Davis Eyes, was BJDIS at the prestigous 2009 Hoosier Classic as a dry yealing and was very competitive this year going two times GCH. Blue as we call her and Bluegrass are both descendants of our famous Blue Moon and we couldn't be more pleased with how they are developing. Blue is a huge dry yearling who really stood out this year in the show ring winning BJDIS at her first show out and then Jr. CHampion at the Ohio State Fair over some really beatiful does. This doe is really correct in feet and legs, long bodied, uphil and dairy as well.  As you can see from her picture she is quite a beauty ang we anticiapte her freshening.

Blue was bred to One-More Arizona Desert and Kids are $450

Desert is an absolutly gorgeous buck who is linebred on SGCH McQuitty-Farm Aloha, the two time ADGA National Champion and Best Udder.  This guy is strong boned, uphill, dairy and has beautiful feet, legs and pasterns!  We used him heavily becasue he was on loan from our dear friends form Cherry Glen farm, which is where he now resides!  I expect great things from both the genotypical and phenotypical sides of this buck and I wish I could have kept him here forever.  His dam was 3rd place 3 year old at the 2008 ADGA National Show in Louisville and his granddam, Yolanda, was 2nd to Aloha at the 2000 ADGA National Show!  We are really excited about Desert's offspring and we will retain a son form him!  Thanks to Wayne and Diane for the opportunity to borrow this special guy!

Skip is a big guy who is really correct in shape of hoof, angulation and length of body.  He is smoothly blended with open ribs and straight forelegs too!  We finished his dam last year in tough mid west competition.  She had numerous wins and was once Best in Show.  We appreciated Xtra Clean's will to milk, perfect teat size and smooth rear udder so we are anxious to see what the Xtra-Clean/Foxmaker cross produces.

Ava is definitely her mothers daughter being long, tall and dairy with open ribs and sharp withers. She is tall fronted, smoothly blended and correct in feet and legs. Her udder is well attached with proper shape and nearly ideal teats.  Ever since Ava was a kid I had a feeling she would be a knockout and time has proven my suspicions to be true. She was our star this year earning two legs towards her permanent championhsip. One of which was being named GCH and BOB at the 2010 Ohio State Fair over 39 Milkers!

Ava is bred to Mint*Leaf Hierarchy, kids are $600.

Heirarchy is a very flashy buck correct in general appearance and style!  He is high headed, smoothly blended and long bodied as well.  This buck has a bright future being the son of the second place yearling milker at the 2010 National Show and his sire's littermate, Amaretto, was first place! The 2010 ADGA National Show was a pretty good one for Mint*leaf Lamanchas having 5 individual class winners, Reserve National Champion, Premeir Breeder and Exhibitor for the Lamancha breed, Congratulations Julie!  I am really excited to inject some of this modern style, correctness and beautiful mammaries through Archie!
